Join us for a relaxed evening discussing IR cases over cheese and wine - Halloween edition!

Like a book club, we will choose a case to start our discussions off (usually based on an interesting factual scenario, novel legal principle and/or really good writing).

Our fourth case is Donato v Queensland Venue Co Pty Ltd [2026] FWC 362. Our discussions will explore whether pranks in the workplace are ever ok, the impact of culture on interpersonal relationships and complaints, and why certain IR cases get the limelight on LinkedIn. Bonus points for sharing your own scary IR story or case!

Case Club is also a space to share your own favourite cases and discuss the decisions that made you think. Case suggestions for future case clubs can be emailed to irsocietywa@gmail.com.
