WORK – Then, Now & What’s Next
26 – 28 May 2016: Pier One Sydney Harbour, The Rocks, Sydney
On behalf of the Australian Labour and Employment Relations Association, we would like to extend a warm invitation to the ALERA National Conference, to be held on the 26th – 28th May 2016. The biennial ALERA Conference (proudly hosted by the Industrial Relations Society of New South Wales) is to be held right on the imposing and beautiful Pier One Sydney Harbour, The Rocks, under Sydney Harbour Bridge during Sydney’s fantastic Vivid Festival.
The objectives of the Australian Labour and Employment Relations Association (ALERA), are to foster discussion, research, education and publication within the field of Industrial Relations.
The theme of the conference is WORK – Then, Now & What’s Next. You will hear an impressive and inspiring range of speakers including politicians, academics, corporate leaders, unionists, judiciary and professional advocates and counsel who will cover a diverse range of industrial and employment related issues, with a specific eye to the future of work and employment relationships.
The Conference will include keynote speakers, debates, expert panel discussions, workshops, master classes and a cinematic session.
There will be pre-conference Welcome drinks on 26 May with speakers being heard on 27 and 28 May with a closing dinner on 28 May 2016.
